Why I Created RateTheSupervisor.com

Have you ever felt mistreated by a supervisor? Have you experienced toxic work environments where leadership failed to foster respect and fairness? Too often, companies overlook these issues, leaving employees feeling powerless and unheard.

I’ve personally faced these challenges multiple times. Frustrated by the lack of accountability, I decided to take action. That’s why as a web developer and programmer, I created RateTheSupervisor.com—a platform where employees can share their experiences, provide honest feedback about their supervisors, and help others make informed decisions about their workplaces.

Not all supervisors are bad. Some are true leaders—mentors who support, inspire, and create a positive work culture. These supervisors deserve recognition, and this website is also a place to highlight those who make a difference.

This is my project, born from my experiences and a belief that workplaces can be better. Whether you want to warn others about a toxic boss or praise someone who truly leads with integrity, your voice matters here.

"Disrespect employees with covert gestures."

Aziz Malik consistently demonstrated unprofessional behavior toward colleagues, frequently making covert and disrespectful gestures. I personally observed him giving the middle finger behind employees’ backs on multiple occasions, which created a hostile and negative work atmosphere.

"Retaliatory with Control Issues"

Aimee Adams often uses aggressive body language and manipulative tactics to get what she wants. She has a huge but fragile ego and lashes out at any feedback she doesn't like. She abuses the evaluation process, retaliates against complaints filed against her, and treats her male employee more favorably than any female who held the same position. She's a major control freak who cannot stand anything she didn't implement herself. For example, she thinks she can create a better nonfiction organizational system than the Dewey Decimal System. Ritter is an amazing library, but Aimee ruins it.

"An insecure bully"

Lena Nordin has bullied me and my colleagues for years. She continuously displays behaviours that are unfair, rigid, controlling, not approachable and time and time again proves that she is an awful people manager and has no place being a chief of anything.

Signs that you work for a terrible boss...I mean for Lena Nordin: 1. Lena calls it "family" but fires people like strangers. 2. Raises come usually only after people threaten to quit. 3. Micromanaging is her leadership style. 4. You need approval for everything - even thinking. 5. Vacation? "Sure, but only once everything is covered and only 3 weeks in Summer and 2 weeks in December" 6. She talks about wellbeing while she burns you out. 7. Promotions go to people she likes, not people who earn it. 8. Feedback shows up only when you make a mistake. 9. "Flexible work" = in the office 9-18

"Queen of Gossip, Scheming and Unethical Behavior"

While Betsson Group promotes a culture of innovation, transparency, and collaboration, Lena—the CHRO—embodies the opposite. Her leadership is marked by authoritarian control, self-interest, and a pattern of deeply unethical behavior. She has employed multiple family members within her own department, blurring the lines between personal and professional integrity. Allegations of money laundering through her daughter’s recruitment company have circulated widely, casting serious doubt on her ethical standards. Even more concerning is her blatant disregard for employment law and compliance.

"Aggressive, egoistic manipulator"

My experience working with Rami has been extremely negative. He consistently exhibits an arrogant and dismissive attitude toward colleagues, often belittling others and silencing differing opinions. This behavior has created a toxic atmosphere where open collaboration is nearly impossible. What is particularly troubling is Rami’s treatment of specific groups, including women and fellow Jewish colleagues. Despite being Jewish himself, his actions reflect internalized antisemitism, and his use of xenophobic and aggressive language has made many feel unsafe in the workplace.
